But are you one of them?

I guess this is the spam?

So posting in Atlanta, company is in Tampa, for a random crap site?

From craigslist, not anandtech.

the worst is when you post a price. They say they'll meet up and when you do they say, "oh I only brought 80% of the listed price"

Now I understand if you bargain before and settle on a price. That's fine but to just show up without the amount is lame. Waste of time.

So in these types of scenarios do you settle at 90% or just walk away?

The only thing I've "sold" on CL is free kittens. Was an awesome experience compared to newspaper, got to screen them and they took them when they showed. It shook my mom that we got such nice people, like I said a real great group of people in the pet section.

Eh, wasn't there that other thread where people were cautioning about giving away kittens for free on craigslist because they are used as food for snakes and toys for dog fights?

OP if you have spammed on an account before, even if your future posts are legit you will still get "ghosted" since your account is marked as spam. Trying to get around this will only result in more ghosting.

I figured this out because I got marked as a spam account once for attempting to use a phone number from an MVNO to validate my account. Which actually sacked since it was really my phone number. All my posts thenceforth were ghosted. I was furious at Craigslist for discriminating against people on Virgin Mobile.

Only way I got around this was to register a new account using a phone number from my girlfriend.

Are you really that stupid or do you have to try? You do realize that giving "selling" by definition means getting paid. Geez.

Smh.
