Holy crap, brutal! A typo like that for 2 whole years. Time to go home and self-flagellate as repentance.

You can reach?
Oh, flagellate, right...
I prefer to sell stuff to people who I don't know (and don't live next door to me) because I don't want them coming back to me if/when it breaks... not that you're selling something that would break, but with electronics you can never tell when it might die.Originally posted by: KeithTalent

When I bought a car at CL, the seller requires bank check, and on the date of the sales, he made sure I went with him to the bank and the check is deposited before giving me the key.
That sounds reasonable. There is a bulletin board at my condo, so I will probably post it there first (just thought of it this morning on the way out) but if that does not work out, I will post it on CL with those reequirements. Thanks.

...and going back to the motorcycle thing. Someone at work mentioned that someone else was looking for a bike. I told him I didn't want to be the one to sell the noob a bike and then he crashes it into a wall or something.
Know what I mean?

Agreed with Scarpozzi. Besides, about the only people you can trust when going through Craigslist are the one-liner, plain-talking emails. The ones you get that sound all proper with multiple sentences and use the word advert are typically the ones that you avoid.
