I am trying to unload my Wii for $200 more than retail and everyone keeps flagging it and saying it is not right to sell it for profit. After a day, they just shut down my post. Geesh, if you do not want to buy, do not buy it.

Relist without a price. People like that are lazy, while they have no problems clicking the little flag link, they're not going to email you if they don't have interest.

What do you expect from a site with a "peace sign" as it's bookmark avatar? It's run and used by socialists.

Craiglist is becoming useless with all of the spam, both in the listings and the Nigerian responses to ads. I'm getting tired of sorting through garbage to find real ads, but I still do it because I've found some fantastic deals there.

According to Wiiloaded, Wiis are coming in with a very steady supply. Some places are going to be ready to restock as soon as the day after launch.

For sellers it is becoming a pain in the ass and the scammers are getting smarter. A few months ago I sold a laptop and received what seemed like a legit inquiry. After I responded to their simple questions they asked if they could pay with WU and have me ship it overseas? Hell no.

Hey OP it's dummies like you who screw things up for the people who really want to play the console. If you want to make money selling stuff then get a business license and do it right. I thought the wii was going to be fairly available anyway so hope your stuck with yours.

Huh? WHAT??? Where is this? Link please?

Sorry no link, but...
I can confirm that for both PS3 and Wii pre-sale listings on EBay you require a minimum of 50 feedback and a 98% positive rating!
It has to do with qualifying the item for PayPal buyer assurance program (of something like that). Also, PayPal is the only acceptable payment option.

Oh yeah, and while I won't offer any sympathy to the OP, I don't think selling things for a profit makes him a bad guy. If the market is willing to pay the upcharge then why not? This is America... if you don't want to buy it from someone, don't. Flagging someone for offering to sell something for a profit is just stupid.

I've had that happen, too. The only thing that saves me is the ability to spot a non-native English speaker. There's just something about the way they write, and maybe it's just a British English education that makes them type differently. I haven't found one that's convincing yet. :)

I don't care about someone making a couple of bucks on a wii pre-order just so long as it is a "real" person and I don't have to look at someones new "free iPod" or "bigscreen TV"

sold for $500.00. I just kept relisting when they flagged it. As for me, yes, i really did want to play the console, hense the reason why I preordered 2 of them. It's not my fault people are willing to pay well over the amount for it.

Wanna get pissed at me more??

I have 2 Tickle me Elmos I will be unloading....

$90....want one?

My suggestion for the eBay feedback issue?

Sell the contents of your sock drawer. $0.01 a sock, with free shipping. I would buy one.

However, I personally am sick of price gougers. You're exploiting supply and demand - it's not fair to those of us who just want to give something to our kids.

Thankfully, I've heard that Nintendo is going to be having tons of 'em for sale, so you're pwned anyway.

I don't use craigslist a lot, but the one time I did use it, I was able to find a buyer for my car.
