I am trying to unload my Wii for $200 more than retail and everyone keeps flagging it and saying it is not right to sell it for profit. After a day, they just shut down my post. Geesh, if you do not want to buy, do not buy it.

Craiglist is becoming useless with all of the spam, both in the listings and the Nigerian responses to ads. I'm getting tired of sorting through garbage to find real ads, but I still do it because I've found some fantastic deals there.

Hey OP it's dummies like you who screw things up for the people who really want to play the console. If you want to make money selling stuff then get a business license and do it right. I thought the wii was going to be fairly available anyway so hope your stuck with yours.

For sellers it is becoming a pain in the ass and the scammers are getting smarter. A few months ago I sold a laptop and received what seemed like a legit inquiry. After I responded to their simple questions they asked if they could pay with WU and have me ship it overseas? Hell no.

Sorry no link, but...
I can confirm that for both PS3 and Wii pre-sale listings on EBay you require a minimum of 50 feedback and a 98% positive rating!
It has to do with qualifying the item for PayPal buyer assurance program (of something like that). Also, PayPal is the only acceptable payment option.
Oh yeah, and while I won't offer any sympathy to the OP, I don't think selling things for a profit makes him a bad guy. If the market is willing to pay the upcharge then why not? This is America... if you don't want to buy it from someone, don't. Flagging someone for offering to sell something for a profit is just stupid.
