I will buy it off you for $25,000.

Oh shit, you know what I just mailed you your check but I accidentally wrote it out for $28,000 (I was so excited to purchase the watch that I wasn't paying enough attention). Here's the problem though, my friend just got in a car accident and he need his car fixed ASAP. That $3,000 extra I just wrote on your check... can you make it to the nearest western union and send it back to me? He won't be able to make it into work without his car fixed (Honda transmission going out! He got it for the reliability... sigh) and he has a newborn and is already on a pretty rocky relationship with his boss.

Please let me know when you make it into western union and when you ship the Rolex.

Thanks.

Better yet, just get $3000 cash, and stuff it in the box with the Rolex. Don't worry, the check is good! :sneaky:

why the jubliee over the oyster band?

$3k seems reasonable, I bought my dad the same watch for ~$5k new when I was over in Basel Switzerland for work.

Personal preference, I like the Oyster, but more so on the bigger watches like the Daytona. The thing I don't like about the Oyster, is the larger links show scratches fingerprints etc etc easier.
