Traded a Fat PS3 (40gb)
2 controllers
Uncharted 3
Metal Gear Solid 4
Dark Souls
Infamous 2
Little Big Planet 2
God Of War 3
The Sly Collection
Assassins Creed Revelations

For a 55" Vizio E552VL

Most of those games were worth about 10-20 a piece. Controller used probably 25 each and the system was at most $150.

I'd say I came out on top with this transaction. My 43" Samsung Plasma died last week. Figured I would browse CL before I stepped into B&M's

The tv is great, except for the slow start up time, nice upgrade.

Nice trade reminds me of one my good friend just made yesterday.

He traded 10 grams of premium cannabis for a PS3, HDMI cable, two wireless controllers, Killzone 3, Socom 4, MLB The Show, two random films on Blu-Ray. To top it off the guy smoked him out with some of the stuff he traded to him for the PS3. I believe it cost him a total of like 40 dollars worth of cannabis for the whole deal as the cannabis came from a another buddy who grows.

Not a fan of the design of that TV. Don't really like how there is almost no space between the base of the stand and the bottom bezel of the TV.

Aren't the 40GB PS3 backwards compatible with PS2 games? If so, it was worth close to what a new PS3 is worth. The PS3's with the PS2 backwards compatibly still fetch good prices almost as high as new PS3 slims.

It wasn't backwards compatible. And I'm pretty sure the tv is close to new. It still had the plastic on the bezel. Working fine right now 😀

i traded a mosin nagant and 880 rounds of 7.6254R for a boat with a motor.

nice job OP. CL trading is the best.

Let's see how long the TV lasts ...

My 50" DLP purchased in 1996 for $2,000 (still hurts) is still on the original bulb and works just fine.

Of course it hasn't been turned on for about a year since it was replaced with a newer 55" LED.

Trade it on CL.

Make thread to tell us what you got.

What do ya say we make a deal. My PS3 kit for your TV.

When will you cash out and become a barter king?

I don't know what it is about Vizio, but it just screams chinese knockoff.

When I first got it, it had this motion flow crap on. Everything looked fake. Looked online and I guess they call it the Soap Opera Effect. Turned it off, calibrated the settings and TV looks great. I think Vizio is starting to become a more common brand (well more-so than what is considered non-name brand). It's no XBR but it definitely does produce a good screen. I hear most of them have LG parts.

I figured the ps3 and those games were at most 300 dollars after fees and shipping. This TV still retails for 900 at wally world. Saving 600 sounded good to me!

Now to figure out if it's worth to fix this 43" plasma I bought last year or just trash it.

Vizio is a good brand that in the last 5 years has really come on strong. If it was shit it wouldn't have gained so much market share even being as cheap as they are.

I think they are also going to be making a second gen ultrabook also.

vizios are good tvs. they have good pictures and the return rates are low from what i have read.

166w while running though. dont the led versions get considerably less draw then that?
