I think I understand what the OP is trying to say but he has a clumsy way of saying it.

lol you'd be the only one. care to explain? I don't understand what he's asking because every time I have provided a response he tells me I'm wrong for some reason.

it sounds like he doesn't understand how the brain evolved to a point to where expressing one's self by drawing came about.

he doesn't seem to care about the reasons for making the drawings but more about how it was possible.

At least that's what I think he was trying to say.

ah i understand. that is different. but that is i think a much easier question to answer. I could think of many scenarios where they might accidentally understand they could make markings.

it also reminds me of the issue surrounding why we speak but other apes don't.

the argument was that their vocal structures are incapable of speech. The reality is our brains are different and that allows better control of our vocal structures for speech production.

People have been explaining to him that evolution has side effects for a while now, even in this very thread.
