Comparing Craig Ferguson to Conan O'Brien is like comparing someone who is funny to someone who is not funny.

I agree!! I never thought that Craig Ferguson was actually funny at all....

Oh my...

It might have been nice for us to actually agree about something -- just once. Instead this is just more proof (as if more was needed) that my posts (and maybe Craig's jokes) are too hard for you to decipher.

<sigh>

Meh...what fucking good is a Scotsman who doesn't rock the bagpipes?

In a pipe band, there are bagpipes and drums. Craig is of the drummer persuasion.

I liked how his monologues weren't shitty jokes about current events, and the animatronic skeleton was funny, and his interviews were off the wall and often entertaining. Much better than letterman & leno, and more entertaining than conan and Fallon. Conan's pre-recorded segments are probably my favorite late-night comedy bits, but the rest of his show was generally boring.

Anyone else watch the last show? He was my favorite interviewer of all time bar none. I'm really hoping that he moves on to another network like he's been hinting at for the past few weeks.

Saw it. Nice end. But he really stopped giving a shit in the last two months.

Best interviewer. Didn't feel rehearsed or canned. It felt authentic. Probably would have done great things with a higher budget. Shame Shirley Manson didn't show up one more time since she lives in LA.

Well I knew eventually it would come around to our turn.
Just go to www I Want To Host Late-Night TV.com to apply.
Chances of getting picked are over 50%.
And even if you lose out this time, give it another six months try for the new opening.
Turnover rate in TV late night is pretty robust.
So why not give it a shot?

He's now hosting Celebrity Name Game on daytime television; it's quite funny, actually.

And yes, I watched a bit of daytime television during my time off... :ninja:
