Buying one, in store pickup. I can definitely use this. I have a bunch of vacuums but most are just crappy. Have one big wet-dry, but it's kind of tough to lug it around. This will probably be my favorite. The the price is definitely right.

Anyone else having trouble bringing up the manual PDF? Won't load. I saw it for a second or two and can't even get that now. It's 24 pages.

Completed order. I thought it said you bring the email to the store and then pay for it when you pick it up. But the online process had me pay online. 😕

I gotta get another so I won't be always lugging it up and down stairs. I didn't get an email confirmation on my first. Did you get a confirmation? I checked my spam software and I don't have "sears" filtered or blacklisted, so don't know what to think. Online it said I'd get a confirmation of my order ahead of the email you take to the store for pickup, but I got nothing. 😕

I just ordered a 2nd. A popup comes up with your order confirmation number and other information including a 24/7 800 number you can call if you have any questions, but I closed that thinking I'd copied that information. I don't have it, though. Can someone post that 800 number please! I think there's an email address and online link too. Post here or PM me, please! I didn't get any confirmations and I want to ask them about my orders. TIA.

Edit: Found this: If you have any questions regarding your orders, please visit our Customer Service section or call 1-800-349-4358. Don't know if that's the 24/7 line, but it said my orders are "processed." I didn't get any emails, though...

this is a nice vacuum. very light, but powerful enough for 99% of all the work i need it to do. only thing is that the hose is very small, so leaves and things like that clog it up.
 
Wet dry vac can suck up dry stuff and water since it all goes into a plastic container. Probably not the best at filtering dust, but good for picking up stuff around the shop, in cars, boats, etc.

I got my confirmation for pickup, but have to go the game 1st.

I picked up one of mine today. In spite of having sent me a separate email confirmation for each of the vacs I bought, a Sears person at the store called me and said she didn't have 2 for me. Weird. She said she was pretty sure she could have one sent to me UPS, free shipping.

I like it. Not fancy, has only around 1/2 of the available accessories (this is true of all the shop vacs I've seen, anyway), but it's basically fine. Sucks great, blows too.

Don't trip when you only see one attachment. The other two are inside the vacuum. Open it up and you will see them.

I think someone said it had a 1.5"hose.
I think the extension hose you can buy separately is 2.5".

You sure about that? The guy was actually pretty quick. He brought two and I was hoping they were both for me, but one was for another guy at pick-up. What I did find out was that they have drive through pick-up. I had parked at a meter. It's downtown.

The hose is sort of narrow for a Craftsman, which tend to have wide hoses. But my other shopvac, (by ShopVac), has a narrow hose and it hasn't been much of an issue. I've gotten some clogs, but I wouldn't say it's been a big problem. The ShopVac is 3.0 HP and this one is 1.5 HP. Too wide a hose and it won't have enough velocity of air through the hose, I figure. There's a tradeoff there.
