This looks like a pretty good deal to me. I got like a 70-80 piece for like $80 or so, but this looks like an even better set than I got. Consider if you do a lot of automotive stuff you might want a 1/2" set and it will be expensive to buy the extra 1/2" sockets to match what you have here, so it might be better to spring for a bigger set that has 1/2". Otherwise, its a good basic tool set! Don't forget its got a Lifetime Warranty

Anyone have a hotter mechanics tool deal? Post it here!

Sorry guys, they must've changed the price :( I swear it was $65, and has been the past couple days 'cuz I've been researching prices as I needed some tools.

But they also have a 17-pc set for $200 on there, so maybe there's a pricing glitch and it'll be fixed. We'll see, I'll update if there is. For now its DEAD :(

I work at Sears, and for a few months it was my job to refurbish the ratchets, wasn't a very fun job, especially when I had to balance the small bb on top of the spring while fitting in all the small pieces for a 1/4" ratchet. When a customer brings in a broken ratchet we give them a refurbished ratchet. I've been told that the refurbished ratchets last longer than the new ratchets.
