These days, everything is "crafted." "Hand-crafted" even.
Typically by "artisans." Or by "Amish" like the basket I bought a few days ago (hey, it's mounted on a lazy susan).
We are highly aware of this, thanks to marketing.

As for myself, I crafted my daughter a graduation gift in the form of a necklace, using stones and wire wrap.
Also I've bought paracording paraphernalia, so I can craft bracelets and lanyards. Lanyards for me, bracelets for them.

Have YOU crafted anything recently??
What? Pray tell.

I was told a few times in my younger days that I was pretty crafty...but I don't think it had anything to do with an ability to make silly trinkets.

I folded up my solar filter and inserted the tabs correctly without tearing it. I'd say that is pretty darn crafty.

One might say that many things are crafted but I think fashioned is a more honest term. Fashioned implies a sort of half-assed spontaneity where crafted imparts a sense of focused deliberateness that is much more rare.
