A friend of mine gave me a pint of Lost Abbey Devotion Ale which I popped open and drank on Sunday. It was really really good. I'm going to make it a point to try some of their other beers soon.

ZOXXO, great point. Why waste all the money and effort in to homebrewing if you're going to have 10-20 gallons of something you hate?

XSauronX, I totally agree. Drinking the same beer over and over gets redundant; variety is the spice of life.

Shocksyde, you are one lucky dude. I definitely have to give that Dormaal Blond a try; I hope Bevmo stocks it in the SFV.

Anxi, I have not. I haven't been in San Diego for years. I am going to visit family friends who live 30 minutes east of San Diego; we're going to the sand dunes in the desert with his dune buggy. I told him we would go to the Stone Brewery together when I came down. It looks like we'll be hitting up the Green Flash Brewery as well. 😀

I've been to both of those. Used to work about a mile from Green Flash in fact and we would go over there for "tastings" after work sometimes.

Check out Lost Abbey too. I had one of their beers the other day and it was fantastic.

Lost Abbey makes some awesome beer. If you get a chance, try their Angel's Share. It's really different but really tasty.
