The targeting is miserable.

Yes, in the demo the targeting is miserable. Ruffian acknowledged that and promised it would be fixed in the game. When you load up CD2 you get a patch. I don't know if the patch fixes that but the targeting in the full game is improved over the demo.

I know they said there was an issue with targeting things further away rather than the close objects. The problem I have with targeting is I want to shoot the flaming barrel next to the guy, rather than the guy himself. Is there a way to do this that I'm missing, cause its really freaking hard to target the barrel and shoot it, rather than accidentally lock on the guy.

I had the same problem all the time in the original

Wow, I was stoked to buy this game util I read the reviews today. I was hoping the demo was just a fluke, but I guess not :(.

I played the game for about 3hrs last night. Aiming seems to be fixed, I'll still lock on to the wrong target sometimes, but its better then the demo. I had fun driving, which surprised me, I hated driving in the first game. I do my driving at night so I don't run all the peds over. Agents can kill each other in co-op, I don't remember being able to do that in the first one. I run out of ammo more often then I remember in the first one. The announce is still funny, I haven't heard him tell me he can see his house from here yet. If you liked the first one, you'll probably like the second one. If you don't mind waiting a few weeks, I think this game will quickly drop in price.

I was gonna buy it but then I replayed the demo. I didn't think it was great even the first time but it was fun. I don't think it offers enough that is new to warrant 60 bucks. I'll wait for it to be 15 or something.

Yes, you can kill other agents in co-op in the first one. I found that out yesterday, repeatedly.
