I bought advertised PC4000 ram off a user on this forum.

CPU-Z clearly states it is "Kingston DDR-SDRAM PC3200 -512 MB"

Is this just inaccurate/something in my bios? or did i really pay for pc3200 ram?

I thought that I read somewhere that many of the memory modules were still marked as PC3200 in the SPD info, because there was no official Jedec standard for PC4000 yet.

Some of the Kingston HyperX PC4000 stuff is made using the same chips as their regular PC3200 stuff too, just different heatspreaders.
