CPU voltage problems and OC issues

I'm having some problems with getting my X2 3800+ to overclock. I'm going for a 2.4 GHz overclock (240x10 with a 9/10 mem divider). When I OC to those settings and run Prime 95 core 2 crashes after only about a minuite at stock voltage, voltage +4%, and voltage + 10%. According to SpeedFan the voltage for core 1 reads at 1.31 volts stock, and changes with the changes i make to the voltage settings. Core 1 also appears to be stable at 2.4GHz stock voltage (though i havn't run long enough to confirm this). Core 2 on the other hand runs at 1.17 volts according to SpeedFan, and that number does not change as i change voltage settings.
I am fairly certain that this is not a ram problem as my Ram can pass memtest at 220 MHz (i havn't tested higher yet) and with the divider it's only running at 216.
Is there anything else i should try, or am i going to need to go with a lower OC/Higher VCore?

Bump, anybody got any idea?

Oh, and for an update i'm 7 hours stable on prime 95 at 230x10, so i'm curious as to the wall at 240.

Yea, i did lower the multiplier, and as of this morning i was at about 16 hours stable on the 230x10, and that's at stock voltage.
