CPU Voltage Issues

Anyone hear of such a thing? My computer's been stable for months, no issues... Running an e8400 at around 3.89ghz... Voltage was set to 1.375 in BIOS, but in reality all monitors showed it at about 1.325 most of the time... Temps were never an issue, mostly in the 55c area under load...

So, one day, turn on the computer, and got the beep/reboot cycle a couple times and it comes up running at default settings... Runs fine, but back down at 3ghz... Voltage shows at 1.17 to 1.18 idle, then drops down to 1.165 or so under load... Hmm, pretty low considering my MB thinks the CPU should be at 1.25 by default...

Anyway, I go back into the bios and start trying to bump settings up to where I used to go, and have no luck... Checked the voltage, and no matter what I do, it won't come up higher than 1.18 now....

Speedfan shows voltage normal on all other settings, just low on vcore1... CPUZ confirms the same voltage numbers, as does Gigabytes own monitor/overclock tool..

Anyone run into such a thing? Any ideas? MB failure? Power supply failure?

My next two actions are:
- Reflash BIOS, start at defaults again, and try to change voltage only.
- Open computer and check all connections to MB from powersupply

Just flashed BIOS, found a new one... F4a now... CPU voltage jumped back up to where it should be... Now to play with overclocks again.... Strange behavior...

Edit: All good in the hood.... Back up to 4+ ghz at 1.375... keeping it at 3.89ghz 1.325...

Nothing like a BIOS refresh to cure random failures after some time off...
