I noticed on some othe forums that some people may have their cpu vid start up value at 1.5v. Then under their cpu vid control its set to 1.3v with the cpu vid special control set the 123%.

I have my startup value set to auto and my cpu vid control to 1.45v with no cpu vid special control set.

Is there any significance to having it the other way?

This is confusing

ok sir
startup value= leave it at start up // most people including I have noticed no difference..its jus tliek the boot up voltage..
next . the vid control is just wut u set it to,,,
special control is just an feature to tune in a finer voltage liek for instance,
if u wwant more than 1.55 u can do 1.55 control + 104% special control which equals 1.61.2 volts
or if u want 1.48V and the only control is 1.45-1.5 then u can do 1.325 + 112% special control to get 1.48V
understand? also some people use the special control ..just to use it. also make sure u calculate it correctly...1.5+110 doesnt = 1.6V = 1.65 =)
some say it can produce a more stable voltage...
i havent found this true at all .. and in fact it made it more unstable for my opteron...yet worked fine in my old venice . chip
i recommend using it if u have to. or just use it and see if its more stable
cheers nukka
