CPU voltage bump wipes out video

If I bump the voltage by the smallest possible increment, with the CPU at stock settings (220x11) , when I restart, the video will drop and the system will not boot. After a few resets it will come up.(thankfully) I don't know what's wrong. At first i thought I had a bad PSU. It was a freebe I got with my video card. Fortunatly I already had a PC&P unit on the way so i didn't buy a new one just to fix this problem.

I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with the fact that i'm using the ATX12.v connector. When I built the rig I had no idea why they sent a adapter with the PSU when the connector fit in the socket fine. 😛

EDIT: Does the same thing with a complete power down

PC&P 510 Deluxe SLI specs.
Output:
+5V @ 40A
+12V @ 34A/38A
-5V @ 0.3A

power=510W
pk. power=650W

5% (-5, -12)
1% (+3.3)

Dookie, I'm experiencing similiar problems with my rig. I wonder if it has something to do with the video card since we're running the same one?

Does your system boot? I have a LCD display that will start up without having to log into windows. I let it sit for a while but the LCD never came up. So I concluded it's not booting. The HDD led flashes and the disk drives flash but only for a little while.
