Whenever i'm using yahoo messenger, computer would freeze. when I check(task manager)it's showing that cpu usage is 100 percent by yahoo messenger. i'm not having this problem with my other computers. I just hate having to restart YM again and again. Can someone help me with this?

I have had a very similar experience with some java games in IE.:Q

They would run fine for a bit but they gradually got slower and slower until they were using 99% of cpu.

I never found the cure. 😱 Sorry 🙁
 
hmmm...i think the culprit is ur webcam?....open up ur webcam software and run it....see if that does the same....

try taking out ur webcam and running YM....
i've had this problem b4, turned out that my mobo's VIA chipset's usb controller couldn't handle usb webcam...had to get another pci card to fix that....

other than that...then..mmm...a bad install?...uninstall completely, then reinstall....

Don't use yahoo at all, just use MSN messanger. 😛

I don't like trillian, its way to fancy (who needs alpha blending.) And I can't even hold shift to put returns in my messages. 🙁
