CPU Usage at 90%....wtf.

Ok, did a sweep for spyware and viruses using AdAware, AVG, and Avast. Recently installed iTunes (for my nano), and also recently hooked up my front usb ports to the motherboard. I don't see how any of these could cause this, but I'm at a loss. Any ideas? I've tried closing various processes, to no avail. Thought it might be my Java compiler, since it would still be running after i closed it, but i uninstalled it and still the maxed out CPU. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you running Trillian? A recent patch solved 100% cpu issues.

Task manager says its System Idle Process, when nothing is open. However, if i have say, Skype open, then Skype is at 90. Could this be a driver issue? I saw something like this earlier when I didn't have the Nforce drivers installed, but that was a long time ago. I'm stuck.

Try Process Explorer from sysinternals.com instead.
