BX6 r2 can use any PIII or Celeron as long as they are Coppermine. If you run a 133 MHz FSB PIII, your AGP will be out of spec @ 89 MHz. If you use a S370 FC-PGA CPU, you will need a FC-PGA capable Slocket.

You know, I was checking CPU prices and it kinda dawn on me that there isnt a whole lot of upgrade I can get as far as cpu speed is concerned. I've always thought if I ever upgraded it would be double of what I currently have....maybe I should start asking the question, what mobo/cpu combo should I invest in?

Good idea. Currently, the P4 Northwood 1.6A and 1.8A are the hot CPU's. As far as which mobo, there are several options. Read up. Every other post is about the new Northwoods.
