I have a Aspire 5810TZ-4657. I want to upgrade my CPU and I looked but I want to be sure I'm getting the right upgrade. Here is details from CPU-Z

Thank you

Doesn't seem like it would be worth to upgrade the CPU, if the board will take one and you can find one for sale.

Which one though? Like what can I upgrade to ?
You will have to check the laptop first, whether the processor is soldered or sits in a socket. Then you have to check the processors supported (by the BIOS and check the laptop's technical documentation as well). 😉

I have a subnotebook with that same cpu. It runs fine. Even plays league of legends. Battery lasts a very long time for as old as it is. I thought about going after more power but then you just get reduced battery life. What do you need that this thing cannot do?

actually most notebooks now a days do not have the cpu soldered to the motherboard, netbooks yes, notebooks no.

looks the 5810TZ-4657 is a subnotebook/netbook, looking up the motherboard for it shows that its processor is soldered on.
