CPU upgrade help ??

Hi,

After starting Oblivion and finding what a killer it is on the hardware i am doing a pci-e overhaul, i've chosen MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum and a X1900XTX, now will my 3800+(Newcastle) power things along nicely or am i going to be badly bottlenecked?

If i should upgrade the cpu which one to go for? I'm looking at maybe the X2 4400+ as about the right sort of money i can afford, although i can go higher if it's worth it, but i don't want to buy if it's not going to make much of a difference (if ya know what i mean)...

X2 4400+ is a nice choice although I'm not sure with the K8N since the Asus model is far better and more reliable.

After reading about 10 reviews on the MSI (all good) i thought it would be a good option (plus its in stock at my store)... What Asus are you talking about??
