CPU upgrade for KT7-Raid Motherboard

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU (850) to the best my MB can handle. I realize the MB is a little outdated, but then again everything is in a few months. I've upgraded my BIOS to where it says it can handle 1.4gh. Do any of you have any experience with this?

Hey, its going to be hard to find 1.4 unless you go w/ a Duron processor. I'd upgrade you Mobo and processor. You can get a Amd 2100+ for $80 atgooglegear.
and a new MSI K7T Turbo2 modo for $65. MSI and you will be able to use your old sdram. For a grand total of $145. However, I'd spend a few bucks more and go w/ DDR ram.
