Clocked my q6600 to 3.420 20 degrees ambient and under hottest core 61-63 running small ffts on prime and at 27 degrees ambient hottest core 68. I live in New Zealand doesnt get hotter than that often. I assume that would be safe temps overclock.

What are you temps , is mine quite safe, oh and its a q6600 go

I'm looking at a kentfield G0 upgrade with the artic freezer 7 pro, but only wish 3.2ghz. I'm pretty sure 63 top is acceptable, how long did you run prime?
 
Ran prime 24 hours. Have speedfan configured so it shows same temp as core temp. Speedfan shows what the max temp you hit. Cpu hit 56 core 0 68 core 1 68 core2 64 core 3 64 . And 56 still quite a way from thermal specifications of 71. Can overclock more but happy at that gives some room for the hot days.
