Okay according to Everest my CPU (venice 3000+ 2.5GHz at 1.45v) is idling at 24 degrees celcius and full load is at about 40 degrees. At least the idle seems really low to me. HSF is a TT Big Typhoon.

Bios also reports the same idle temps. Are those temps possible? I mean that's just a few degrees above ambient.

I don't know about that.
I have an ABIT A8V + Venice 3000+ before.
Before I updated to 1020 BIOS, temp reads 45 idle, 60 load.
After I updated the BIOS, however, I was getting 25 idle, 40 load while my room temp is 28C... doesn't make much sense to me.
