Ok, so i just got my new system up and running, but i am a total noob at this stuff. Just getting the computer built and running was a MAJOR accomplishment for me, but now i think its time to first take care of my new investment, and then learn how to tweak it.
All i want to know for now is, what is a stable temperature for my CPU to be running? On average i would say it is 45C and after i played the BF2 Demo, it was at 49C, now is that too hot, or is that good? This also has the new San Diego core, so it should run cooler than a plain Clawhammer, right?
Also, what are stable temps for my system, and for my gfx card?
Ill put my specs here because i know all of this depends on what hardware you are running:
AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
OCz Dual CH 2GB (2x1GB) 2-3-2-5 DDR 400
Rosewill X800XL 256MB
WD Raptor 74GB 10000 RPM SATA
Seasonic S12-500
and i know the rest doesnt matter...
PS - NOTHING on my system is overclocked
