what's average the temperature should be?

Currently my temperatures:
CPU Temperature - 65C / 150F
MB Temperature - 31C / 86F

My System configuration:
CPU - 3.2GHz
FSB Speed - 800MHz
MoBo: Asus P4P800-E
RAM - 2GB
VIdeo: Radeon X800

Any help appreaciated.
Thanks!

well, my FX-55 was 66C at load with everything stock from Monarch. Pentiums are supposed to be hotter than Athlons, but even for an FX that was kind of high. I have it running at 55C load now with cooler ambients and an XP 120.

how do i check the cpu temperature of mine? Is it a program, or is it a physical thing you put on your case?

these temperatures when the machine is idle...
thanks all for the help... well, the next question is how cold i solve the issue?
what kind of cooling fan i should get...i guess it's not just any kind, right?

Make sure your HSF is properly seated and that you have a good amount of thermal paste one (not too little, not too much). P4's are hot, but not that hot. You should be idling somewhere around 40C. My overclocked Athlon 64 maxes out at 37C load with 1.425vcore.
