CPU temperature

hello. i just got an Athlon 64 3400+ (with stock heatsink and fan) with ePox 8KDA Mobo today.

after putting everything all together i checked the cpu temperature and it was around 55C. (used arctic silver)

and im just wondering if this is the normal temperature for this processor.

so plz gimme some feedbacks/comments

If that is under load, it's fine, maybe a bit high (by 3 or 4 degrees, don't worry about it). If it's at idle, it's way too high.
