What kind of AMD XP cpu temps are you getting?

I am getting 55c and 130 F for my cpu in the bios.

CPU:AMD XP2000
Heatsink/fan: Thermaltake Volano 6cu+
Powersupply: Thermaltake Purepower 420W
Case fans:2 Thermaltake double ballbearing 80mm, 2 Antec 80mm fans, and one cheiftec fan.
Video Card: Abit Siluro OTES 64mb
Case: Blue Aluminum Cheiftec Matrix
Motherboard: Abit KR7A-133

I also can't get motherboard moniter to work with my computer, any other good programs for displaying the temps in windows? I am running XP pro.

right now cpu at 41c motherboard 29c. always 12c degree higher then motherboard when idle. under load cpu temp becomes 15c higher then case. on a slightly overclocked 2000+ palomino with vcore at 1.79v according to MBM5

you aren't going blind

I edited my post to say AMD XP.

what kind of cooling are you guys using?

I just spent all this money on new case, new power supply, and all these case fans. The temps seemed to only drop like 10 degrees.

did the top blow hole come with the case or did you have to add that?

I was thinking about adding one to my case if it actually helped. I have a 120mm antec fan I can use.

no i had to do it myself....but i got a kti from voyuermods...here the link here ya it works really well actually..cept my 120 mm fan is a bit noisy...just gotta get a diff one

steel or aluminum case?

"acrylic window kit" sound like it is meant for cutting a blow hole on the window.

Bat

mine runs in the 50-60s all the time no matter what i do i have 5 case fans and a top blowhole with a Thermaltake Volcano 7+ AMD Athlon Proc. Water cooling will be my next project though. I wouldnt worry about it most procs. have a 3 year exchange to begin with

i have aluminum case, cut the hole with a jigsaw....its pretty easy except for installin the winodow...u need 2 sets of hands when doin that..its the most frustrating thing ive done...but once its done, its worht it.....there is alredy a blowhole laser cut into the window, so u just need to cut the case
