cpu temp programs?

Are there any programs out there which monitor cpu temp etc. from within windows. Will running the distributed.net client affect my cpu?

I use Motherboard Monitor on my system to measure temps,fan rpms and voltage as well as current CPU speed.

I really like MBM, another one is Hardware Monitor, but that is not freeware
