cpu temp and cpu speed jinxed

i just built a system using AMD DURON 850 mhz on a SiS 735 chipset mobo (OEM) with 128 mb pc133 sdram. on first starting the system the bios read the cpu correct as amd duron 850 mhz, but on going into the setup, i found the cpu speed at 566 mhz and the cpu temp @ 47> * C. i cleared the cmos settings and started the sys. this time again the bios read correct but on going to the setup, this time it read cpu speed @ 100 Mhz and the bus speed @ 100mhz. Tried the options but there are only 100/100, 100/133, 133/133 and 133/100. The cpu temp is still 47*C +. whats happening?:|
