CPU Speed not recognized

Hi,

I have an AMD Athlon T-bird 1.33Ghz CPU and an ASUS A7V133 motherboard. The motherboard is set to JumperFree mode.

On the initial boot-up screen it says: AMD Athlon 1000 Mhz Processor.

Does anyone know why it does not recognize my processor as being 1333Mhz?

Should I change anything in the BIOS settings to make it recognize my processor?

Should I set the jumper setting manually on the motherboard? If so, should it be set at 100Mhz or 133Mhz?

Thanks in advance for any help.

133MHz.

Multiplyer = 10
FSB = 133MHz

10 x 133MHz = 1333 Mhz

If the FSB is only set to 100MHz you'll get this

10 x 100MHz = 1000 MHz
