I was wondering if anyone had any insight or know of a "recent" review for same CPU but different clock benches on Games for speeds of 3 ghz and above.
I got my Q6600 still doing great and didn't feel the need to upgrade it but was wondering if bringing it to 3.6 ghz or beyond is worth it. Currently at 3.2 ghz with vcc of 1.18V and it idles at 40C with 25C ambient and Load of 60C. Getting it up to 3.6 will bring temps to around 72C and was wondering if its advisable for 24/7 use. I rarely turn off my computer.
