CPU randomly losing signal/connection

After I put AS on my chip/HS (previously just left the default thermal stuff), I started losing my CPU. I figured out that if I moved my HS around a little & re-booted, it ran fine. So, I switched out the CPU w/ the same HS and continued to have the problem. Next I tried a new HS w/ default thermmal stuff & it seemed it be okay, but it just happened again... So I jiggled the HS, re-booted & I'm fine. Has anypne else had a similar problem? I wonder if the board is still under warranty...
