I have a question on the Hypertransport of the A64 chip. On Sandra, my A64 chip showed up with a FSB of 800x2. However, since the 754 socket only runs memory at single channel. I wonder how would that 800x2 FSB would help communication between CPU and memory?
Sorry I really don't know much about how hardware works but I see how website listed NF3 150 supports HT at 1200, VIA supports HT at 1600 and the new NF3 250 supports HT at 2000, I wonder how would that difference in FSB help since we only run single channel on a A64 chip.
Thanks very much for all the help!
