CPU question

I have a AMD 2000+, and wonder if it is still useful? I do play games, and thought of picking up a cheap Asus A7V600 and putting it to use for BFV. Is this asking too much? What would be a good video card to use with this?

Just thought i'd 'recycle' a CPU 🙂

it's fine. get a cheap mobo but stay away from via.. these are good.

On the video card, as long as it will run BFV, Raven Shield, Joint Ops and BF1942 I will be happy. Not wanting to spend alot of money on one though.

Pretty lame OC options, only 2 phase power, cheap caps, no dual channel memory, no FW, no soundstorm, or sata support overall not ASUS best board.... Get this if you want ASUS

PS ASUS nforce2 boards were not the best... ABIT NF7-S and DFI Ultra infinity is where it's at for higher end.
