CPU Prices "HELP"

I got my new system together about 7 month ago I got a amd 64 3000+ for $107

do you guys think it is wise to go ahead and buy the "AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ " for $188
before the price goes up again


the AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ " has went from $150_to_ $188 already



P.S

I'M going to stick with SKT 939 for now

CPU's are not like memory...
They only go down until they are discontinued.

Look in the For Sale/Trade forum. People can't dump them fast enough. Everyone has Conroe Fever.

Newegg has the 4200+ for $183 ... right now thats the best value for an AMD X2 if you want a brand-new one, however you should do as has already been suggested & keep an eye on FS/FT for cheap deals.
