CPU overspeed?????

My new A7N8X with a AMD 2400+ gives me the following messag at post:

Warning: CPU have overspeed

What the hell does this mean?

I am not clocking it up (yet)

This thing is trying my patience.....

Just disable the option where the BIOS will detect any error.

I recommend going to the 1002.001 bios soon, fixes a lot of problems that the default bios had.

I too had this issue until I upgraded the BIOS to 1002.001 This BIOS also let me change the mults on my unlocked CPU.

OHHHHHHHH!! Thank you Thank you. Bless AT. Did probably a million restarts in the past hour trying to figure why this $hitz wasnt letting me change the mutiplier on my unlocked 1700+. 😀

I upgraded to 1002.003, mult was unlocked, but I got a weird msg @ post: 'system failed memory test' . Went to 1002.001. Seemed fine for a couple of boots, then I got the msg again. Any1 know what this is about?
