Hello,

The strangest thing is happing to my CPU. It seems to be overclocking by itself. I originally set my CPU in the BIOS to a FSB @ 136 and multiplyer of 13( stock is FSB 133 and 13). Yesterday, I wanted to check the temperture of my CPU(I use a software package that came with my mobo called Fuzzy Logic 4). I discovered that my CPU speed was @ 1820MHz(140FSB x 13). I never manually tweaked the FSB at all, it just automatically changed itself. Today, I wanted to check my temperature with Fuzzy Logic, and it now states a CPU speed of 1948MHz(149.9 x 13). Again, I did not tweak any of the settings at all.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Thanks

Some MSI boards have dynamic overclocking. I'm not aware that yours does, but that is a possibility. My MSI PT880 board has that feature. I recall when the Intel 875/865 chipset boards first came out, the MSI boards whomped on all others in benchmarks until it was discovered they dynamically overclocked. There was a big hubbub about that.
