What's up with that? Nothing is reading my cpu as 2.13GHz which is what it's stupposed to be (AXP 2600+Barton)

General System Properties reads it as 2.09, SiSoftware Sandra 2003 reads it as 2.09, 3dmark03 reads it as 2088Mhz.

What's the deal?

thats only 40 mhz off man... Just put the fsb up a little higher if you want to reach the right speed.
2600+ barton though? I didn't know there was such a thing. How is it working for you?

it cant be a barton, tehy are only making 2800 2500 and 200 so far. any anyways, the 3000 barton is clocked at 2.06 i think, so IF tehre even was a 2600 barton it would be much lower. and hes right, 40 mhz, just up the fsb.maybe ur mobo messed osmething up and lowered the fsb. who knows

You're fine. I believe you have a tbred. Is it running at 333mhz fsb? If it is, it's suppose to be running at 2.09ghz. Here's the amd tech info.
http://139.95.253.213/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=98,E=0000000000068289242,K=8576,Sxi=10,Case=obj(3737)
Scroll through the page, in the tbred 2600 section, you'll find there are two different 2600s, one running at 266fsb and the other at 333fsb. The one at 266fsb runs at 2.13ghz wheras the 333fsb runs at 2.09ghz. Hope that helps you out.

Says right on the box... 2600+ with 333 MHZ FSB

Or am I incorrect in thinking that the bartons have 333fsb and the tbreds are 266FSB?
