I edited your title. Its not informative and annoying. Please consider these rules when posting

probably not.

are you using correct memory divider? what voltages?
usually you would need more voltage to northbridge.

!!@@cpu---oc----help@@!!

You know we do kind of expect thread-titles to be a bit self-explanatory, communicating something to the community that assists them up-front in their determining whether or not they have anything (or want) to contribute to your thread.

Look at the other thread titles in the forum...notice how they are all a bit more descriptive than yours? There is a reason for this. Please be considerate of the community and the forum decorum.

Obnoxious thread-titles are not prevalent here (or in VC&G) for a reason.

There is no OC without voltage tweak . except very minor ones.

AS IDC said, give us more details .. as in what FSB you're at etc... you could be FSB locked for all we know ...

iam at 1500 fsb......which gives me 3ghz overall icant go even 1 mhz above that

and also which will be the best mobo(non sli) for overclocking my cpu INTEL CORE @ QUAD 9400

Have you upped the vcore of your CPU, or are you running it at stock voltage? What is the stock voltage reading for your Q9400?

He should get that Processor to 3.0Ghz without voltage tweak.

Max volt your NB , I dont know what kind of vdrop you have if any.

That CPU as I said should to 3.0 or 3.2Ghz without voltage tweaking. If you want to go higher then your vcore voltage will need tweaking. Have you tried reducing the multiplier to 8 ,,,,, instead of default 9 ........ soo now you raise the FSB but make shure RAM isnt overclocked by using 1:1 divider. let us know what happens.
