I have a friend who just got a ECS K7S5A board and 1.2 GHz Thunderbird, The problem is that the BIOS says his CPU multiplier is 10x. This can't be right for a 1.2 GHz process as far as I know. If he sets his bus/RAM speeds to 100/100 the processor ends up at 1 GHz, but if he sets the bus speed to 133/133 then the BIOS displays it as 1.33 processor. The chip he ordered is supposed to have a 133 MHz processor bus (at least thats what the store said). I've dealt with the company he bought it from and they've been good so I don't think they ripped him off. Anyone know if anything could be wrong with the BIOS?
Any help would be great.
Thanks guys.
