CPU Multiplier on MSI 6330 motherboard (VIA)

There is a bios setting on my motherboard for overclocking the FSB and one for the CPU multiplier. I have an Athalon 1300mhz chip in the thing. I thought that changing the multiplier for the CPU had no effect? Is this true?

Also, when I run MSI's FuzzyLogic4 program, it supposedly runs through overclocking FSB, but it will make it to 167 without the computer ever failing. Also, it does not correctly multiply the FSB & CPU multiplier to show the correct CPU mhz. Does anyone have experience with this program? Am I lucky and can crank my FSB to 167 like the program states? Right now I've only pushed the FSB to 105 and it seems stable.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
