CPU Multiplier is not reading correctly... Will not boot.... Help plz.. Thank you

The CPU is an AthlonXP 1600+ unlocked with Tom's Hardware's method. (by connecting the L1 bridges using conductive liquid)
I was able to lower the multiplier below 10.5 and above 6 I think. But no more than 10.5 or less than 6. Anything higher than 10.5 or less than 6 the machine would not boot. The mobo I use is an Epox 8KHA+ with BIOS version dated 1/16/2002
Any suggestions?

it doesn't matter what the FSB is at, the multiplier just won't go above 10.5 or less than 6 or 8 or 9.. cannnot remember.. something like that..
but, it just won't be above 10.5 or less than one of those numbers above.

Like the old Duron unlocking, you may need to re-do the bridges. I know that if the bridges weren't done just so on the Durons, people would only be able to obtain odd combinations of multipliers.
