Cpu Monitoring

Hello everyone!

I have an old Asus, A7N8X-DX motherboard, with an XP 3200+ @ 2.3 ghz and a gig of ram. I've recently installed a raid of two 74 gig Raptors and added a 7600gt. Everything is working well and smoothly, but I always have trouble with Asus Probe, the bit of software that came with the motherboard, which provides fan speeds and cpu temperature, amogst other things.

My reason for writing is to ask if there's any decent software, similar to Asus Probe, which would work for me and which someone might recommend?

Thanks,

John

Strebor,

does Everest actually provide cpu temperature monitoring? I tried to figure this out, from the screen shots and explanation, but couldn't find any information.

Let me know and thanks,

John

Strebor,

I appreciate this. The second one is more what I'm looking for. I'll try it first.

Again, thanks!

John

Are there more? Anyone else?

All I want is a simple, accurate and quick reading of cpu temps and fan speeds, without introducing system instability.

thanks,

John
