CPU/mobo recommendation

Hi guys

I am in the market for a new CPU and motherboard and I was wondering if you guys can give me some recommendations

1. No intense gaming. WoW and Diablo 3/occasional league of legend/small indie games on steam at most

2. I mainly use my PC for school, netflix, crunchyroll, and other streaming

3. I don't have a habit of overclocking and not looking into bitcoining.

Don't have a real budget but would like to keep it as little as possible. Probably around $300...I don't know if that's reasonable.

No preference on intel or AMD.

You can always add an HD6570 down the road if you feel the need to upgrade to dual graphics.
