CPU keeps peeking at 100%

I know this is a fairly old thread, but if the OP is running an AM2 board (there were 939 and AM2 versions of the CPU listed) it might support upwards of a Phenom II and it would be a massive leap in performance for something that can be cheaply bought in FS/FT forums. If it's 939 then it really would make sense to touch it.
