Usually it goes at 45-55% load." ....obviously its at this time u need to try to identify the program using the PROCESSES tab...............this......... u did not clarify as to which tab u were talking about in the TASK MANAGER in ur OP..........u could have been talking about the APPLICATIONS tab using a general term of "program"/"tasks" - which wouldn't show all the processes running on ur machine. i cant read minds, u know

you can also try "Kproccheck" ( a DOS util - google it) to identify any zombie processes running on ur machine.
