guys i want your opinion.a 3400 clocked at 2.4 512 L2 is better comparing with athlon 3500 at 2.2 and 0.13?

3400+ (754) [Newcastle/Clawhammer]:
2.4GHz/2.2GHz
512K L2 cache/1024K L2 cache
800MHz Hypertransport
Single channel memory

3400+ (939) [Rare OEM Newcastle chip]:
2.2GHz
512K L2 cache
800MHz Hypertransport
Dual channel memory

3500+ (939) [Clawhammer/Winchester/Venice]:
2.2GHz
512K L2 cache
1000MHz Hypertransport
Dual channel memory

not worth paying any $$$ to make the change if that is your question
in some apps the higherclock rate will rule- these are the ones Intel also does well in- I call em Squirll Cage apps, it's how fast the wheel spins monving simple things from point a to point b
for heavy lifting the 3500 might be equal as bandwidth affects the A64 very little in most apps-b but does in some

wow, i have the 3400+ chip and i we payed 579 for that plus a 200gb sata drive and 512mb ram. maybe thats the reason its so slow (from Compaq, not built). its a good gaming chip, but my 6800gt is at home... i have a 5200 in hear...
